  • Close/Close - Percent change based on prior session and current CLOSE.
    • ^DJI - Dow Jones Industrials Index.
    • ^IXIC - Nasdaq Composite Index.
    • ^SPX - Standard & Poors 500 Index.
    • TSXc - Toronto Composite Index (not used in OA columns).
  • Open/Close - Percent change based on current session OPEN and CLOSE.

Please take careful note of the following when viewing the MarketMeter results history:

  • Corresponding results are provided in each row for the major North American Indices - ^DJI, ^IXIC, ^GSPC, and TSX Composite. The TSX results are provided for information only and are not used in calculating the OA column(s).
  • All values for Indices are displayed as percent (%) gain/loss for the indicated period. Two tables are provided for each Intra-Day (MM ID) cycle; Close-Close represents the gain/loss between prior session CLOSE and current CLOSE and is provided for informational purposes only, Open-Close represents the gain/loss between the current session's OPEN and CLOSE which is of most interest to individuals using this system.
  • Results for the MM C4 gauge are also provided in a similar format as Intra-Day with the following key differences; Close-Close represents the gain/loss between the prior week's (Friday) CLOSE and current Short Term cycle (Thursday) CLOSE and is provided for informational purposes only, Open-Close represents the gain/loss between the current cycle's 1st day OPEN (or CLOSE*, depending on the MM ID gauge reading for that day) and 4th day CLOSE (or OPEN*) which again is of most interest to individuals using this system.
  • OA columns are provided for each table and represent the average gain/loss in percent (%) across the Indices included in each row with the exception of TSXc.

Results provided are based on OPEN and CLOSE values, intra-day valuations are not used.
