Advanced Dynamic Filters  
By employing a sophisticated tracking and filtering system as a primary module for the AAT analysis generator used on this site, we are able to provide Investors with market information of a significantly higher quality. All filters are dynamic and, although they will vary slightly based on market conditions, the minimum value for each filter is fixed. Some of the criteria that all monitored securities are subject to during the initial filtering process are listed below.
FILTERS
ADL

Average Daily Liquidity - Is established for each security by calculating the average daily volume for that security over the past 5 trade days and then multiplying that average with the most recent close. The minimum Average-Daily-Liquidity values for securities to be eligible for inclusion in the eQuotes and Investment Tables are:

eQuote Modules - $100,000 (per security, per day) 1

iTables Short Term - $3,000,000 (per security, per day) 2

iTables Day Trade - $3,000,000 (per security, per day) 2

1 The eQuotes' Momentum Indicator will perform with significantly greater accuracy on securities with higher ADL values.
2 The vast majority of securities reviewed and featured in the Investment Tables have an ADL far greater than the set minimum.
MTV
Minimum Trade Value - Securities with a recent close under $1.25 are not considered eligible for short term or day trading. Also, securities trading below the standard $5 marginable equity value are not considered for short positions.
HTV
Maximum (high) Trade Value - Long term analysis has shown that securities trading above $90 per share have lower short term movement potential versus securities trading below $90. The cutoff value can vary from $80 to $110+ depending on current market valuations. All securities trading above this value are excluded from the secondary selection systems.
MTD
Minimum Trade Days - Securities are required to have a track record with a minimum 50 consecutive trade days to be considered eligible.
The above is a partial list of key filters used on this site (the eQuotes utilize the ADL filter only). Although these filters are always in force, many securities which do not qualify for the Investment Tables because of the filters are still monitored on a regular basis and will automatically be activated should there be a change in their status.
